1836-1985
The Millport Presbyterian Church was organized in 1836. They built a meeting house, but when a number of prominent members moved away, the church ran into financial difficulties.

The Millport Baptist Church was organized on December 24, 1844. For many years, services were held in various places including the Methodist and Presbyterian churches. The church building was acquired in 1867 by P.S. Tanner and renovated for use by the Baptists. In 1871, the Baptist society was legally organized and purchased the property, dedicating the church on September 27, 1871.

1986-Present
In November 1986, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, a few Christians took a step of faith and purchased our present facilities, this Church and Parsonage in Millport, New York. The Church is a beautiful old building, which has the start for many future visions.

More than our vision for the building is our need "to seek and to save that which is lost" (Luke 19:10)
