Drink causes problems
Daily Devotional for August 27

Habakkuk 2:15 "Woe unto him that giveth his neighbor drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness."

The Christians that condone drink of any kind are truly lunatics. They have no biblical doctrine for this kind of living. There is no such thing as any type of "social" drinking. We know what Paul said to Timothy in 1 Timothy 5:23 and what is said in one verse in Proverbs 31:6.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Know ye not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are."

Smoking destroys the body.
Drugs destroy the body.
Alcohol destroys the body.
Sex outside of marriage destroys the body.

God wants us to have a healthy body. He is only looking out for our own good, just as a Dad or Mom would warn their children against things that would hurt them.

You may have these problems right now. Please repent of these kinds of sin at once, for have a loving and forgiving Saviour that will deliver you from these kinds of sin. The question is, do you love Jesus more than you love these types of sin?

If you do not love Jesus you will not be interested in stopping your sinning, for your flesh is in charge of your life still.

Come to Jesus Christ our Lord. He can truly change your life now.
