2 Corinthians 9:6 "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully."

This Daily Devotional is for one purpose. That is to sow the Word of God. This is why we say, "You must be born again" at the end of the devotional a lot of the time. Some people may read this devotion and ask Christ Jesus into their heart. Some people may read this devotion and get encouraged. Some people may read this devotional and may learn something to help them. Some people may read this devotion and learn nothing because of their pride complex.

Mark 4:14-20 "The sower soweth the word. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred."

There are four kinds of hearers in this parable and only one that truly heard in verse 20. "And these are they which are sown on good ground, such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirty fold, some sixty, and some an hundred".

Luke 8:15 "But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience".

We keep sowing the Word of God in hope that others will be saved that are not; still others will learn to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace is the teacher. Love is the healer. Mercy is the hope. Forgiveness is the action. Finished work is the truth. This is what the Word of God is about. Sowing the love of God day after day until Christ Jesus returns. Praying and watching for His return. Amen.
